Hello - I am very excited to be working as a leader/conductor of The Stephen Wood Ensemble, a solo jazz pianist, and a keyboardist with many groups in the Atlanta area. I am actively performing more diverse genres and styles of music than any other time in my musical career. I would love to provide the music you want for entertainment at your upcoming special event.

1) The Stephen Wood Ensemble
My original music, usually performed as a quartet or quintet but is available in small ensembles up to ten to twelve pieces. You can hear this music on my facebook, myspace, and reverbnation pages. My compositions are very original modern jazz that appeal to many different tastes. Styles included in The Stephen Wood Ensemble repertoire are fusion, funk, blues, swing, contemporary, and avant-garde.
2) Jazz Piano
As a solo jazz pianist I perform music from the standard jazz and blues repertoire. Duos, trios, and larger groups with taylor made arrangements are also available. This music is wonderful for entertaining social occasions and special events.
3) Orquesta MaCuba
Under the direction of Eddie Lopez, Orquesta MaCuba is Atlanta's leading Salsa band. I am having a wonderful experience being in the rotation of pianists performing with MaCuba. MaCuba performs every Saturday and Thursday at Loca Luna in Atlanta, the top festivals, and for many special events and weddings.
4) Whiskey Please
A really fun entertaining classic country rock band formed with Atlanta singers and acoustic musicians Paul Puckett and Chris Clark. Whiskey Please performs as a duo, trio and fully rockin' band. Whiskey Please will turn any Bar-B-Que, summer party, or happy hour into the party you're looking for.
